Trendsetting and Modern Education
The structure of our study programmes and their contents are constantly being aligned with modern requirements. By means of a permanent internal evaluation process, we ensure that the quality of the education is high. The good achievements of our graduates in the job market back up this statement. Lectures at University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück are generally held in small study groups. Students' everyday life is dominated by lectures, seminars and workshop-like lectures with possibilities for participation. Thus, the contact between students and lecturers is very close.
Practical Orientation is Indispensable for us
We see ourselves as a university which stands out because of a special relationship to practice. Practical placement semesters are part of nearly every programme. Generally speaking, lecturers have several years of professional experience in outstanding positions and bring this experience into the academic environment. By means of research projects and common projects with organisations within the framework of practical placement semesters and dissertations, we keep in close contact with companies. Guest lectures of professionals complement this practice orientation.
Openness and Internationalism
The international orientation of University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück has been its trademark for many years now. Bilingual study programmes, study semesters and practical placement semesters abroad for our students, and an increasing number of students from abroad who come to Osnabrück are part of everyday life at University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück.
