International Event Management Shanghai (IEMS)

 

 

 


 The study programme International Event Management Shanghai has been offered for Chinese students by the Fachhochschule Osnabrück since the winter semester 2005/2006 in co-operation with the partner university "Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade" (SIFT). Teaching only takes place at SIFT. Half the lectures are held there by German professors and lecturers of the Fachhochschule Osnabrück in 2-week block seminars. The modules of the course include Event Management, Management of Trade Fairs, Congresses and Marketing Events and Services in the Events Market.

 

 

The study programme IEMS was accredited by the Central Evaluation and Accreditation Agency Hanover (ZEVA) in 2005.

 

 

IEMS is partly funded by the Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

 

 

SIFT have offered German students enrolled at the Fachhochschule Osnabrück the chance to study a semester abroad in Shanghai since 2007.
