B.A. Public Management
The whole public sector is currently undergoing a sweeping modernisation process. Public administrations and enterprises, public utility institutions and non-profit organisations (NPO) are not only supposed to work more effectively and efficiently but are also expected to be more citizen- and customer-oriented.
The aim of the Bachelor programme in Public Management is to convey the skills required for this reform and restructuring process. To achieve this, subject-related skills and key skills are conveyed within an interdisciplinary and practice-oriented degree programme.
Good reasons to study Public Management:
- Conveyance of sound knowledge of economics, social sciences and law
- Internationally recognised Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree
- Possibility to subsequently pursue a Master degree in “Management in Non-Profit Organisations”
- Modularised degree programme

- Distinct practice orientation including visits to public sector establishments, external speakers, case studies and project work
- Video-aided communication training
- Intensive mentoring Structure of degree programme
The standard period of study for the Bachelor in Public Management is a total of six semesters. The degree programme consists of modularised learning areas, divided into two study phases:
